About Us

Founded in 2000, the Lambda Epsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at the University of Alberta has built a strong tradition of brotherhood, leadership, service, and personal growth.For more than two decades, our chapter has brought together men from different backgrounds, faculties, and interests who share a desire to make the most of their university experience and build relationships that last well beyond graduation.At the heart of Pi Kappa Alpha is our brotherhood. From competing together in intramural sports and attending social events to supporting one another through academics, careers, and life beyond university, our members build friendships that extend far beyond the classroom.We believe that a strong brotherhood is built on trust, respect, accountability, and genuinely looking out for one another.Pike provides opportunities for our members to grow both personally and professionally. Brothers are encouraged to take on leadership positions within the chapter, get involved on campus, pursue academic goals, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their careers. Our chapter is committed to developing men who are confident, capable, responsible, and prepared to make an impact wherever they go.Giving back is an important part of who we are. Our chapter regularly organizes and participates in philanthropic events that bring our brothers, the university community, and the greater Edmonton community together for a good cause. Through fundraising, volunteer work, and community events, we strive to use our brotherhood as a force for positive impact.University is about more than academics, and our chapter offers plenty of opportunities to get involved. Brothers participate in intramural sports, social events, philanthropy, campus activities, and chapter traditions throughout the year. Whether you're competing on the field, volunteering in the community, cheering on your brothers, or spending time together outside of university, there is always something happening at Pike.Our brotherhood doesn't end at graduation. Through an active alumni network and Alumni Board, our graduates continue to support the chapter and maintain strong relationships with current brothers. Our alumni provide valuable mentorship, career advice, networking opportunities, professional connections, and job opportunities, helping brothers build relationships that can benefit them throughout their careers.Since 2000, Lambda Epsilon has continued to grow while staying true to the values that have defined our chapter from the beginning. We are proud of our history, but we are equally focused on building a stronger chapter for the brothers who come next.
